- I've always played with relatively inexpensive darts. I bought the Kick Ass darts and was looking for the improvement a quality set of darts would bring. On the 4th or 5th throw(into a horsehair board), the point fell out of one of my "hotshot" new darts. Of course my competitors had great fun with me re this. Buy a different dart.
